Isabella made her second annual appearance on the
program of the St. Thomas Music Festival (www.stmf.org) on Saturday, June 18, 2005, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in
McLean. She was accompanied by guitarist Bill Cabrera and percussionist Ron Goad.
That evening,
also June 18, 2005, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, Isabella and Jason Greenwalt kicked off a new Songwriters Association
of Washington 'Songwriters Showcase' at Caribou Coffee 7629 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda (at corner of Woodmont
Ave, 1 block from Wisconsin Ave; 301-654-6616).
On Saturday
June 25, 2005, Isabella performed with Loralyn Coles and Nancy Scimone before, during, and after the 'coffee house' service at the Burke Presbyterian Church. The religious service is low-key, welcoming, and casual; seating is at tables
with coffee and other refreshments available throughout.
In July 2005, Isabella was among the contingent of S.A.W. members who attended the Swannanoa summer music camp in Asheville, NC.
Isabella performed a set at
the SAW open mic at Red Rocks Cafe in Centreville, VA, on March 26, 2005.
Isabella performed on Friday,
November 5, 2004, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Caribou Coffee in Springfield, VA.
Isabella provided a full evening
of entertainment at the Occoquan Coffee House on Friday, October 1, 2004 and again on January 21, 2005.
Isabella performed at a "Songwriters In the Round" concert at Ken Smith's Lighthouse Studio in Lorton on Saturday, January 29, 2005, along with Buddy Robertson, Yvette Barnes, and Ken himself.
Isabella appeared at the second
annual St. Thomas Music Festival in McLean, VA, on Saturday, June 5, 2004. The Festival showcased outstanding local musical artists and includes
a great silent auction, food, drink, and fun.
Isabella opened for Chuck Durfor at a Thursday evening musical series on December 4, 2003, at the Bronx Cafe in Lorton, VA.
A nice crowd turned out when
Isabella performed a two-hour solo program at Borders in Woodbridge, VA, on October 10, 2003. Thanks to Ron Goad and
songwriters Dan Grove, Paula Monks, and Buddy Robertson for pitching in.
Isabella performed with singer-songwriter-guitar
virtuoso Phil DeStefano at the S.A.W. open mic at Red Rocks Cafe in Centreville, VA on Saturday, August 30, 2003. The open mic continues on the last Saturday evening of each month,
hosted by master percussionist and impressario Ron Goad.
Isabella was invited by host Jennifer Elcano to perform at the premier 'coffee house'
at the Burke Presbyterian Church (Burke, VA) on Saturday evening, August 23, 2003 on a program featuring a variety of local
performing songwriters. Thanks to Lori Kelley, Cletus Kennelly, and Cary Whaley for harmonizing on Isabella's program-ending
song, Love's Highway.
Isabella appeared at a S.A.W.
Service concert at Springfield Mall in Springfield, VA, on Saturday, May 17, 2003, Noon to 2 PM. The concert, to promote
Lighthouse for the Blind and other services for vision health, was a great success.
Isabella also appeared at the premiere of a new open mic series hosted by Cary Whaley
at Bad Ass Coffee in Manassas, VA.
On June 4, 2003, Isabella was the featured 'showcase' performer at a S.A.W. open
mic at Bangkok Blues in Falls Church, VA.
